Radical Giving

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 - Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

We’re excited to share that Gethsemane is growing! On August 5, 2023, we will unveil the new Family Life Center. Therefore, we are embarking on a fundraising campaign to raise $100,000, and we are asking for your support. The funds are essential to completing the project. They will allow us to purchase furniture and equipment for programming that supports church members and our diverse community. With your support, prayers, and dedication, we will realize our goal!

Please join us in prayer. Pray for guidance and wisdom as we move forward with this project. We want the Family Life Center to enrich the lives of our community through health and wellness education, youth programs, financial literacy, second chance opportunities, and other outreach programming.

We ask you to make a financial donation to this radical giving campaign. No amount is too small; every dollar makes a difference. The campaign has two phases. We want to raise $50,000 by July 22, 2023. We are asking 200 families to give a minimum of $500, split into two payments:

  • Phase I – Give $250 (or more) by July 22, 2023
  • Phase II- Give $250 (or more) by December 1, 2023

Phase I funds will allow us to open the center this summer and begin offering limited programming. Phase II funds ensure the facility is fully operational to serve worshipers and the community.

There are several ways to give. If you give online or using a tithe envelope, be sure to mark the “Phase II” line item. You may also give using Cash App submitting the payment to $GethsemaneSDARaleigh or mailing a check/money order to: Gethsemane Seventh-day Adventist Church, PO Box 46165, Raleigh, NC 27610. All donations are tax-deductible.
